The Haslach is a 5 km long river in Franconia . With its main upper reaches it is 15 km long. The brook is created by the confluence of the Rimbach and Freihaslacher Bach . The Haslach flows mainly in the market town of Burghaslach in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Central Franconia , it flows eastwards, south of Schlüsselfeld from the right into the Ebrach Empire .

The Haslach arises at about 300 m above sea level. NHN between the towns of Burghaslach and Unterrimbach from the confluence of the water-rich Rimbach and Freihaslacher Bach. The Rimbach has a length of 3.5 km or 8.5 km (measured) without or with its main upper reaches the Appenbach.
Then the Haslach flows east through the Burghaslacher dam towards Schlüsselfeld and flows there at an altitude of 287 m above sea level. NHN from the right into the realms of Ebrach .
Its approximately 5 km long run ends 13 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of 2.6 ‰.

The Haslach is rich in fish due to its low flow rate and the dam. Many fish such as B. zander, pike, whitefish or tench find their home there.
