Hassan Dabbagh (* 1972 in Syria also called Abu al-Husain ) is a German- Syrian imam and a representative of Salafism in Germany . He is the chairman of the Al-Rahman Mosque in Leipzig .

Life

Dabbagh comes from Syria and is a German citizen . He came to Leipzig to study medicine in the 1990s, but dropped out.

Dabbagh's speeches are mainly distributed over the Internet and are intended to lead non-practicing Muslims back to Islam in terms of a fundamentalist interpretation. Legal disputes

Dabbagh was founded in 2009 by the public prosecutor in Munich for criminal association and sedition accused, along with a Salafist preacher from Bonn, Reda Seyam from Berlin and five other people.
