Hatem Ghoula

Hatem Ghoula ( Arabic حاتم غولة Hatim Ghula , DMG Ḥātim Ġūla ; * June 7, 1973 in Paris ) is a Tunisian athlete whowon bronze over 20 km walking at the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka .

General

Third place at the 2007 World Championships was Tunisia's first World Cup medal. Since Mohamed Gammoudi won silver in the 5,000-meter run at the 1972 Olympic Games , no Tunisian athlete has been able to win a medal at global events. Ghoula is 1.78 m tall and has a competition weight of 70 kg.
