Hattenhofen is a part of the municipality of Egling an der Paar in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .
geography
The hamlet of Hattenhofen is located about one kilometer southwest of Egling on the bottom of the western slopes of the Paartal .
Hattenhofen itself consists of four large courtyards in two groups. The Gaberbauernhof and the Klotzenbauer in the north and the Klaßbaur and the sub-building in the south.
history
Hattenhofen is first mentioned in 1083 as Hattenhoven , the place name is derived from the personal name Hatto.
The hamlet belonged to the sub-office of the Landsberg district court, both in 1552 and 1752 the four properties that still exist today are named. All four were owned by the St. Ulrich monastery in Augsburg.
Attractions
In Hattenhofen there is the catholic chapel Sankt Magnus, which is mentioned as early as 1280. The current building dates from 1682.
