Hauggenhöfe , also called Haugenhof , is a district in the Schlegelsberg district of the Upper Swabian market of Erkheim in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . The two farmsteads are located about 2.5 kilometers southeast of the market capital and are connected to it by local roads. The Riedbach runs a good 100 meters to the west, and the Breitmähder Bächl rises to the north . Except in the west, the farms are surrounded by wooded areas.

The A 96 runs 400 meters north , the next junction is Erkheim, a good three kilometers to the west.

history

In 1931, Haugenhof is mentioned in a church directory as a wasteland of the community of Schlegelsberg. There are no entries for Haugenhof or Hauggenhöfe in the official local directories . There the community Schlegelsberg consisted of the main town and Knaus until its dissolution . The official maps from 1995 refer to the place as Haugenhof .

As part of what was then the community of Schlegelsberg, the Hauggenhöfe were incorporated into Markt Erkheim on May 1, 1978.
