The Herl house is a former moated castle in the Buchheim an der Strunde district of Cologne on the right bank of the Rhine . The Herler mill also belongs to the ensemble . The mill has been a listed building since 1984 and Haus Herl has been a listed building since 1990. The Herl house is located north of the Merheimer Heide on Herler Ring.
