At 2015 meters, the Hauser Kaibling is the highest mountain in the Schladming 4-mountain ski area. The market town of Haus im Ennstal is located at the foot of the mountain, which lies between the Planai and the Galsterbergalm .

Lift operation

The Hauser Kaibling has:

  • 7 chairlifts (Senderbahn, Kaibling 6er, Quattralpina, Gipfelbahn, Höfi Express I, Höfi Express II, Alm 6er)
  • 2 drag lifts (practice lift, Ennslingalm lift)
  • 1 gondola lift (Kaibling 8- seater )
  • 1 cable car (Tauern cable car / Büchse)

Slopes

  • 2 black slopes (difficult)
  • 6 red slopes (intermediate)
  • 8 blue slopes (easy)

At the Alpine World Ski Championships in 1982 , downhill , slalom and combination women took place on the Hauser Kaibling.

Transmitter

On the Hauser Kaibling, at an altitude of 1858 meters above sea level, there is a 70 meter high transmission tower of the Österreichischen Rundfunksender GmbH for VHF and TV made of reinforced concrete.
