Hedwig Schardt

Hedwig Schardt (born February 2, 1924 in Höfles , † February 19, 2004 in Kirchheimbolanden ) was a German teacher and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Schardt attended elementary school and passed the secondary school leaving certificate at the Kirchheimbolanden Progymnasium. Then she trained as a primary school teacher at the teacher training institute in Würzburg and Speyer. In 1945 she passed the first and in 1949 the second teacher examination and worked from 1946 to 1986 as a primary school teacher in Kirchheimbolanden.

In 1942 she became a member of the NSDAP . On August 23, 1946, the ZSK Neustadt made the decision: Dismissal. The decision was corrected on December 9, 1946 to: Retention in service and 2 years' ban on employment and probation.

In 1946 she joined the SPD. From 1952 to 1998 she was a member of the Kirchheimbolanden city council and from 1956 to 1985 a member of the district council of the Kirchheimbolanden / Donnersbergkreis district.

In 1963 she was elected to the fifth Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate , to which she belonged until the end of the 1967 electoral terms. In 1964 she was a member of the 4th Federal Assembly .

In addition, she was a founding member of the association for the construction and operation of a residential and nursing home and chairwoman of an association for the promotion of elderly care.
