Höfles is a district of Kronach in the Upper Franconian district of Kronach in Bavaria .

Höfles is located about three kilometers east of Kronach city center in the Rodach valley .

history

The first mention was in 1323 in Bamberg Urbar as "höfleins".

In 1875 Höfles had 318 residents and 134 buildings, 50 of which were residential buildings, and was assigned to the Catholic parish in Kronach and the Protestant parish in Fischbach . In 1900 the rural community Höfles with Ruppen comprised an area of ​​166.49 hectares, 315 inhabitants, 190 of whom were Catholic, and 45 residential buildings, of which 294 residents in 42 residential buildings in Höfles.

On January 1, 1975, Höfles was incorporated into Kronach.

In 1987 the place had 223 residents and 71 residential buildings.
