Ziegelerden is a district of Kronach . The place is on the Hasslacher Berg. Kronach is about three kilometers away.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1686 as "Uff der Ziegel-Erden". Until 1848, Ziegelerden was under the Protestant rule of Redwitz . Since the way to the next church in Schmölz was too far, the believers from Ziegelerden instead visited the Catholic Franciscan monastery in Kronach. In 1829 the place was attached to the parish of Kronach. Ziegelerden has been a district of Kronach since January 1, 1972.
