Heiden is a district of the Lippe town of Lage in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until it was incorporated into Lage on January 1, 1970, Heiden was an independent municipality.

The volunteer fire brigade of the city of Lage maintains a fire brigade music train in Heiden.

Personalities

The engineer Hermann Sturhahn comes from Heiden. In 1912/13 he moved to Constantinople as a nurse for the German Red Cross . In 1913 he published the story of his Lipper family.
