Heidi Ruud Ellingsen (born July 26, 1985 in Narvik , Norway ) is a Norwegian actress, voice actress and artist.

Life

After graduating from high school, Ellingsen trained as an actor at Narvik musikk- og kulturskole and from 2001 to 2003 at Talenter i nord in music, dance and drama and from 2004 to 2006 at the Bårdar Akademiet .

In spring 2007 she was involved in a supporting role in part of the production of Anatevka and got a leading role after a week due to a colleague's absence due to illness. Ellingsen then won the role of Kathy Selden in the musical Singin 'In The Rain in the television program Drømmerollen (German: Traumrolle) on NRK1 and prevailed against seven other talented women in a tough competition. "You are a great musical artist", announced the juror of the TV show Svein Sturla Hungnes after the award of the contract. The musical premiered on January 30, 2008 at Oslo Nye Teater . After the engagement as Kathy Selden Ellingsen got the next leading role in the theater house. She then played the leading female role of Sol in the play The Saga of the Ice People ( Sol av Isfolket ) by Margit Sandemo . The male antagonist at Ellingsen's side was played by Paul Ottar Haga in this performance . She also appeared in the role of Sol in August 2008 in Outdoors at the Valdres Folk Museum . She also performed in concerts with the two Norwegian music groups Sandvika Storband and Sandvika Big Band . Since 2010 she has made further appearances as an actress at Det Norske Teatret . In 2008 she made her dubbing debut and appeared in the film Disco Worms , which premiered in Norway in February 2009. Most recently she dubbed the Norwegian voice in 2013 in the animated film Ice Age 4 - Fully moved . In 2012 and 2013 she played one of the three main roles in the Norwegian television series Hjem . On the first weekend in July 2013, Ellingsen played the lead role of Unn the Beauty in the Viking musical Kongens Ring at the annual Herøyspele open-air theater festival, which is staged in the western Norwegian island community of Herøy .

Ellingsen lived in her native Narvik for a long time, but currently lives in Oslo .
