Heike Dähne-Kummerow (* October 15, 1961 in Zwickau , born Heike Dähne , first Heike Möller after marriage ) is a former swimmer who competed for the GDR .

Heike Dähne from SC Karl-Marx-Stadt won the GDR championships in 1979 over 800 meters freestyle and over 200 meters butterfly and took second place behind Andrea Pollack over 100 meters butterfly . At the GDR championships in 1980 , Heike Dähne finished second behind Ines Diers in the 800 meter freestyle. At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , Australian Michelle Ford won the 800 meter freestyle ahead of Ines Diers and Heike Dähne.

At the GDR championships in 1981 and 1982 Heike Dähne took second place behind Ines Geißler over the 200 meter butterfly . Geissler also won the 1981 European Swimming Championships before Dähne. At the swimming world championships in 1982 Ines Geißler won ahead of the US swimmer Mary T. Meagher , Heike Dähne received the bronze medal in third place.

She studied pharmacy at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and runs a pharmacy in Glauchau.
