Heiko Petersen (musician)

Heiko Petersen (born April 30, 1968 in Osnabrück ) is a German musician. He is the state trombonist in the Evangelical Church in Baden .

Live and act

Heiko Petersen studied school music (teaching post for grammar school) and instrumental pedagogy (main subject trombone ) at the Detmold University of Music . Since 1997 he has been working as a state trombonist in the regional work of the Evangelical Trombone Choirs in Baden (Baden trombone work).

His tasks include visits to the trombone choir in southern Baden, the management of courses and leisure time, the church music D and C training in the field of wind choir conducting, advice on sheet music and instrument issues, publication of sheet music and sound carriers, planning and implementation of the Baden State Trombone Day and editing Work for the "Baden Trombone Choir Journal". The tasks are coordinated in the regional working group of the Baden trombone work and partly carried out in a team with his colleague Armin Schaefer and other lecturers. In addition, he is responsible for the musical direction of the Mittelbadischer Bläserkreis , the Südbadischer brass ensemble and the youth trombone choir Südbaden , three selected ensembles of the Baden trombone work. He also writes compositions and arrangements for trombone choir and brass ensemble. Heiko Petersen has been a member of the EPiD Music Committee since 2001 .
