Heimerle + Meule is a company founded in Pforzheim ( Baden-Württemberg ) in 1845 as a gold and silver refinery . The recovered pure metals are alloyed according to the specific requirements of the jewelry and watch industry, automotive suppliers, electronics and dental sectors and processed into semi-finished products, salts or solutions. The company is a subsidiary of the Lübeck Possehl Group. In May 2013 the former " Cookson Precious Metals " group was taken over. The newly formed Heimerle + Meule Group (Heimerle + Meule, Cooksongold, Cookson-CLAL, SEMPSA JP, Drijfhout, Koutadly) is now one of the largest European precious metal processors. The Heimerle + Meule Group employs over 700 people at locations in seven countries: Germany, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Spain. In 2018 Heimerle + Meule took over the British precious metal processor Weston Beamor Holdings Limited with 180 employees and based in Birmingham .

Products and services

The company works in the field of precious metal separation from scrap, dross and old gold baths. In the precious metal trade, Heimerle + Meule operates worldwide at trading places for buying and selling precious metals.

In addition to gold -, silver -, platinum - and palladium - ingots , the company also sells the precious metals rhodium , iridium and ruthenium . Together with ESG Edelmetall-Service GmbH & Co. KG and Valcambi , Heimerle + Meule develops and sells gold and silver tablets.

The company sells equipment and systems for precious metal recovery to industrial companies so that they can carry out a large part of the recycling process themselves.

Alloy systems for individual indications have been developed in our own research and development department since 1920. In addition, ceramic systems for universal alloys, classic bonding alloys as well as devices and consumables are sold.

In the electroplating area, strips, punched strips and rack goods for electrical engineering and electronics are refined.
