Hein Spreckelsen

Hein Spreckelsen (* 1934 in Wesermünde ) is a German Protestant theologian . From 1984 to 1999 he was regional superintendent for the district Calenberg-Hoya of the Evangelical Lutheran regional church of Hanover .

Life

Hein Spreckelsen studied Protestant theology and art history in Marburg , Heidelberg , Basel and Göttingen . In 1961 he finished his vicariate and became pastor at the St. Michaelis Church in a new building area in Diepholz . He was also the responsible military pastor in the region. In 1970 Spreckelsen went to Juist as a pastor . In 1976 he became superintendent of the Bremervörde church district and in 1984 state superintendent for the district of Calenberg-Hoya. On December 31, 1999, Hein Spreckelsen retired. To this day Spreckelsen is a conventual in the Loccum monastery .
