Heinrich Albrecht (engineer)

Heinrich Albrecht (born August 14, 1929 in Anklam ; full name: Heinrich Martin Gerhard Albrecht ) is a German engineer .

Life

Heinrich Albrecht was born on August 14, 1929 in Anklam, the son of the superstructure inspector of the same name for the Deutsche Reichsbahn and the tailor Else Albrecht. He completed his Abitur in 1949 at the Goethe High School in Schwerin and then began an apprenticeship as a signal technician at the Reichsbahn , which he finished the following year. Now he moved to the Technical University of Dresden to study engineering, which he completed in 1956 when he received the degree in engineering. He also got married that year.

From 1956 to 1959 Albrecht worked as an assistant at the shipbuilding faculty of the University of Rostock . He then rose to senior assistant and in 1963 at the University of Doctor of Engineering PhD . In 1963 he gave up the assistant position and became an employee of VEB Schiffselektronik Rostock . He returned to the university in 1966 as a lecturer in marine electronics.

Married again in 1988, the University of Albrecht promoted him to Professor of Electronic Components and Circuit Technology in 1992 . In addition, he was spokesman and director for the electrical engineering department from 1990, which he remained until 1994. In 1996 he left the university again.
