Heinrich Anz (politician)

Heinrich Anz (born May 2, 1797 in Naumburg , † August 17, 1865 in Halle ) was a German civil servant and politician.

Life

From 1813 Anz took part in the Wars of Liberation as a volunteer and ended up being a Landwehr officer. He then studied law and camera studies at the University of Halle and the University of Jena from 1816 to 1819 . In Jena he became a member of the original fraternity in 1817 and of the old Halle fraternity in Halle in 1821 ; he took part in the Wartburg Festival in 1817 .

In 1821 Anz entered the Prussian civil service as a government trainee in Minden . From 1822 to 1823 he was acting district administrator for the Wiedenbrück district . In 1826 Anz became a cantonal official and provisional mayor of the city of Beverungen , in 1828 he moved to Halle / Westphalia as a provisional cantonal civil servant and mayor, but was relieved of his office in 1831 due to poor administration. He then worked as a government assessor in Münster before becoming a councilor in Marienwerder in 1837 .

From May 18, 1848 to May 30, 1849, Anz represented the 25th Prussian constituency in Marienwerder as a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly , where he belonged to the Landsberg parliamentary group and was briefly a member of the finance committee. After the end of the National Assembly, he took part in the Gotha post-parliament in June 1849 .

In 1850, Anz moved to Magdeburg as a councilor before retiring in 1854.
