Heinrich Dickmann (born February 24, 1941 in Kevelaer ) is a German insurance manager.

Life

Heinrich Dickmann studied mathematics (Dipl.-Math.) And Economics at the University of Cologne , where he was in 1975 with the work estimate of functional parameters by special functions of rank variables for Dr. rer. pole. PhD .

From 1994 to 2002 Heinrich Dickmann was chairman of the board of VHV Vereinigte Hannoversche Versicherung . In 2003 Heinrich Dickmann was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany with the Order of Merit . Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem

Heinrich Dickmann is involved in numerous social projects and the Christians in the Holy Land . He is a member of the German Association of the Holy Land . In 1994 Heinrich Dickmann was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Giuseppe Cardinal Caprio and invested in Berlin on November 12, 1994 by Anton Schlembach , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy . Dickmann is a Grand Cross Knight of the Papal Laity Order.

He held various positions in the order, most recently President of the Order Province of Northern Germany. As the successor to Paul Theodor Oldenkott , he was the governor of the German Lieutenancy of the Knightly Order of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and heads the Papal Lay Order in Germany together with Reinhard Cardinal Marx , Grand Prior of the Order since 2006. The Cardinal - Grand Master of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, Edwin Frederick O'Brien , appointed Dickmann as successor to Christa von Siemens in 2014 in the Holy Land Commission of the Grand Master's Office in Rome.

In 2013 he was awarded the Golden Palm of Jerusalem by Fouad Twal , the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem . In 2015 he was made honorary governor in Germany. In 2015 he was honored with the Gold Medal of Merit of the Latin Patriarchate for his commitment in Israel, Palestine and Jordan.
