Heinrich Hagenbucher (born July 11, 1948 - † January 23, 2017 ) was a German entrepreneur and local politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Heinrich Hagenbucher completed an apprenticeship as a glazier and graduated in industrial engineering in 1974 . In 1980 he passed the master's examination in the glazier trade. From 1992 to 2004 he was the managing partner of the family business Franz Kehl GmbH , a service provider for everything to do with building cleaning and glazing. He also taught strength in window construction as a lecturer.

He was a member of the supervisory board of Technischen Werke Ludwigshafen and the administrative board of Sparkasse Vorderpfalz . Since 2015 he has been chairman of the supervisory board of St. Dominikus Krankenhaus und Jugendhilfe gGmbH, which is responsible for the St. Marien and St. Annastift Hospital in Ludwigshafen, among others . He was chairman of the Glaziers' Guild of the Vorderpfalz.

In 1996, Heinrich Hagenbucher was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Carlo Furno and invested in the Fulda Cathedral on October 12, 1996 by Anton Schlembach , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy ; since 2016 with the rank of Grand Officer . He was President of the Southwest German Order Province of the Papal Lay Order. He was involved in numerous social projects in the Holy Land . He was also a member of the German Association of the Holy Land .

Hagenbucher died of a heart attack .

Hagenbucher became a member of the CDU in 1967 . He was chairman of the Junge Union in Friesenheim and from 1974 to 1999 CDU chairman in the local association Friesenheim, until his death a member of the board. From 1984 to 2004 he was a member of the city council in Ludwigshafen , its deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from 1990 to 2004. He was also a board member of the economic council of the CDU for the Palatinate section.
