Heinrich Happe (politician, 1894)

Heinrich Happe (born December 31, 1894 in Altenessen ; † January 12, 1979 ) was a German farmer and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school, Happe embarked on a middle management career and was one of the founders of the German Peace Society in Münster . In 1926 he took up a job as a farmer.

Political party

Happe first joined the SPD and in 1947 became chairman of the agricultural policy committee of the Social Democrats for the Münster district. He later switched to the Center Party and was involved in the DFU in the 1960s .

MP

Happe was a council member of the Nienberge community and a member of the Münster district council . He was a member of the German Bundestag during the first electoral period from 1949 to 1953. He was drawn into parliament via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia .
