Heinrich Haslinde

Heinrich Haslinde (born May 21, 1881 in Berlin , † November 26, 1958 in Marquartstein ) was a German politician ( center ).

Haslinde studied law and political science in Heidelberg . During this time he also became active in KV at the K.St.V Palatia Heidelberg . He also studied in Munich , Paris and Berlin . He became a doctor of law. obtained his doctorate in Leipzig and was the district president in Münster from 1922 to 1926 during the Weimar Republic .

In 1926 and 1927 Haslinde was Minister of Food and Agriculture in the second cabinet of Hans Luther and in the cabinet of Reich Chancellor Marx . From autumn 1927 on, he was given the management of the Arnsberg district at his own request . In 1933 he was deposed by the National Socialists and sent into retirement. In 1941 Haslinde volunteered for military service and was discharged again in 1943, seriously ill. After the war he was offered several high offices by the US occupation forces, all of which he refused.
