The Marx III cabinet was a cabinet of the Reich government during the Weimar Republic . It was formed after the controversy over the flag Regulation the previous administration Luther II on 18th May 1926 as a continuation of the coalition of the center (center, DDP, DVP), now with renewed leadership of Wilhelm Marx , who already Chancellor of the cabinets Marx I and II have been was. After only 8 months, the government was overthrown on February 1, 1927 as part of a vote of no confidence initiated by the SPD because of the secret cooperation between the Reichswehr and the Soviet Union.
