Heinrich Lange-Windhof

Heinrich Lange-Windhof (born October 16, 1863 in Beusingsen ; † April 30, 1962 in Bad Sassendorf ) was a German farmer and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

Lange-Windhof attended elementary school from 1870 to 1875 and grammar school from 1875 to 1884. He then did military service as a one-year volunteer . In 1885 he began to study law, which he completed in May 1888 with the First State Examination. He then completed his legal clerkship and worked in the Prussian judicial service. After retiring from civil service in 1892, he worked as a farmer in the Soest Börde . He ran a business at the Herringser Höfe near Neuengeseker Heide (Bad Sassendorf). In addition to his professional activity, he was chairman of the Westphalian Land Association and board member of the Westphalian Chamber of Agriculture.

Lange-Windhof joined the German National People's Party (DNVP) and was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia . In December 1924 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged without interruption until the end of the third legislative period in 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 18 (Westphalia-South).
