Heinrich Ochsner
Heinrich Ochsner (born March 15, 1891 in Kenzingen / Baden ; † September 15, 1970 in Freiburg i.Br. ) was a philosopher and publisher's editor .
Life
Heinrich Ochsner studied theology and philosophy in Freiburg and Marburg from 1912 to 1914 and from 1916 to 1922 . He was a childhood friend of Heidegger . Through Husserl's mediation , he became a “supporting teacher” of Japanese scholars in Freiburg (1923–1933). From 1934 he was a research assistant and lecturer at the headquarters of the German Caritas Association .
Ochsner was a spiritus rector and one of the most important members of the Freiburg circle around Karl Färber . He had a particular influence here on Bernhard Welte , with whom he had a close friendship and who later referred to him as a "silent great partner". The Färber circle also included Max Müller , Hans Filbinger and Johannes Spörl . Even Reinhold Schneider joined the band on this circuit and was a close friend Ochsner.
Ochsner published little and was more of a conversation partner. He retired in 1968 and died on September 15, 1970. He found his grave in Kenzingen.
