Heinrich Schneider (born March 13, 1972 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is an Italian chef .
Career
After completing his cooking apprenticeship, Heinrich Schneider went through several positions in various renowned establishments in Germany and abroad, including the Auberge du cheval blanc in Lembach , the Hotel La Perla in Corvara and the Hotel Völlaner Hof in Völlan . In 1998 he and his sister Gisela took over the family business Auner Hof in the Sarntal . The Auener Hof with its gourmet restaurant Terra is located at 1622 m. ü. M. and is therefore the highest star restaurant in Italy. In 2008 it was awarded the first Michelin star and in 2016 the second star. The Gault Millau awards it with 3 toques and 17 points. Heinrich Schneider has also been a member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe since 2008 .
