Heinrich von Mallinckrodt

Heinrich von Mallinckrodt (* around 1590 ; † March 23, 1649 in Osnabrück ) was cathedral vicar in Münster and cathedral cantor in Osnabrück .

Life

Origin and family

Heinrich von Mallinckrodt was born the son of Heinrich von Mallinckrodt zu Küchen and Dahlhausen (1548–1628) and his wife Remberta von Krevet zu Alfen († 1625). He was the brother of the cathedral dean Bernhard von Mallinckrodt , who was removed from his office because of a conflict with the Prince-Bishop von Galen , arrested and detained in Ottenstein Castle . Bernhard died here before his excommunication was lifted. Heinrich's brother Eberhard was a cathedral waiter and cathedral cantor in Münster. His brother Rembert was married to Agnes von Freitag. They were the parents of Canon Bernhard von Mallinckrodt .

Act

In 1584 Heinrich was installed as cathedral vicar in Münster and remained in this office until his death. In 1597 he came into the possession of a cathedral priest in Osnabrück and was here in 1616 cathedral cantor. In 1606 he enrolled at the University of Cologne and received his doctorate with the Dr. jur. Utr. both in civil law and in canon law . Heinrich was also provost in Quakenbrück . He died as a cathedral senior in Osnabrück.
