Heinz-Günter Stobbe

Heinz-Günter Stobbe (* 1948 in Hersbruck ) is a German Catholic theologian .

Live and act

He studied German , philosophy and Catholic theology in Bamberg , Tübingen and Münster .

In 1986 he was appointed professor for theological propaedeutics or ecumenics and peace research at the WWU Münster . From 1996 to 2013 he taught as a professor for systematic theology and theological peace research at the University of Siegen .

His research focuses on ecclesiology , peace ethics, the conciliar process for justice and peace and the integrity of creation, and his teaching focuses on fundamental philosophical questions in theology, dogmatics (doctrine of God, Christology , ecclesiology).
