Heinz-Wilhelm 'Hajo' Fölster (born March 22, 1925 in Willenscharen ; † December 22, 2012 in Aukrug ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1967 to 1988 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . Uta Fölster , President of the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court since 2008 , is his daughter.

Life

Fölster attended secondary school in Neumünster . After graduating from high school , he completed an agricultural training and later passed the master craftsman examination. In his political career he was a member of the district council, district chairman of the farmers' association and deputy district chairman of the CDU Rendsburg-Eckernförde . From September 29, 1972 to October 2, 1987 he was parliamentary representative of the Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forestry.

Honors

In 1983 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class . The community of Aukrug awarded him honorary citizenship , the farmers' association Schleswig-Holstein in 1989 the golden badge of honor.
