Heinz Eininger

Heinz Eininger (* 18th July 1956 in Großbettlingen ) is a German jurist , politician ( CDU ) since 2000 and district administrator of the district of Esslingen .

education and profession

After studying law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen , he joined the financial administration of the State of Baden-Württemberg in 1985 and has been the press spokesman for the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance since 1989 .

Political career

From 1992 to 2000 he was first alderman with the official title of mayor of the city of Kirchheim unter Teck . Eininger has been the District Administrator of the Esslingen district since October 1, 2000. He was re-elected by the district council on July 17, 2008 with 83 out of 92 votes and on July 14, 2016 with 79 out of 91 votes.

Other offices

In his function as district administrator, he is also chairman of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Esslingen-Nürtingen . He is also chairman of the supervisory board of the district clinics Esslingen gGmbH and vice-president of the district council of Baden-Württemberg . He is also a member of the supervisory board of the Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart GmbH .

Private

Heinz Eininger is married and has two children. He is the older brother of the former soccer player Thomas Eininger .
