Heinz Hülsmann

Heinz Hülsmann (born September 2, 1916 in Münster , † 1992 ) was a German philosopher .

Life

Hülsmann studied philosophy , German literature and history at the universities of Münster and Freiburg , served in the Reich Labor Service (1937-38) and in the Wehrmacht (1938-42), was wounded in 1941 near Smolensk and in 1943 married Helene Papenkort. In 1946 he passed the state examination for teaching at grammar schools.

From 1947 to 1966, Hülsmann taught as a study assessor (1947–53), teacher (1953–60) and senior teacher (1960–66) at the natural science Fichte-Gymnasium Krefeld . The doctorate in 1957 in Münster with Otto Most and Joachim Ritter was followed by the habilitation in Salzburg , the rehabilitation in 1971 at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU). From 1966 to 70, Hülsmann was senior lecturer at the university, from 1970 to 72 he was a professor at the University of Münster. In 1972 he was appointed adjunct professor of philosophy.
