Heinz Jankofsky

Heinz Jankofsky (born September 28, 1935 in Berlin ; † May 2, 2002 in Bebersee, Templin , Brandenburg ) was a German cartoonist .

The trained fitter worked as a locomotive fitter for the Deutsche Reichsbahn until 1968 . He then turned his hobby into a profession and worked as a freelance press illustrator for 30 years . His caricatures and cartoons with the characteristic nose people appeared in Eulenspiegel , NBI , Sächsische Zeitung , Super-Illu and other magazines and newspapers. In 1994 a collection of his pictures appeared in the Dicken Jankofsky book .
