Heinz Josef Angerlehner (* 1943 in Wels ) is an Austrian industrialist and art collector .

Live and act

After several years as a manager in various mechanical engineering and industrial companies, he founded Ferro-Montagetechnik (FMT) in 1980 , headed it until 2007 and has been chairman of the supervisory board there ever since . From 1995 he was a committee member of the Association of the Machine and Metal Goods Industry .

In 1997 he founded the Heinz J. Angerlehner Private Foundation , where he is the founder and chairman of the foundation's advisory board. Angerlehner finally acquired the company property and in 2009, with the establishment of Angerlehner Museums- und Immobilien GmbH in Thalheim, laid the foundation for the planning and construction of his private art museum for contemporary art .

Over a period of more than 35 years, Angerlehner has built up an art collection in which abstract and figurative paintings , drawings , photographs and sculptures by contemporary mostly Austrian artists from Anzinger to Zitko are represented. The Angerlehner Museum opened on September 14, 2013.
