Helene Rønningen (born September 4, 1998 ) is a Norwegian sprinter .

Athletic career

Helene Rønningen gained her first international experience at the U20 World Championships 2014 in Eugene , where she was eliminated over 100 meters in the first round. In 2015 she took part in the U18 World Championships in Cali and reached the semi-finals over 100 meters and was eliminated over 200 meters in the preliminary round. In 2016, she took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland , where she reached the semi-finals over 100 and 200 meters. With the Norwegian 4 x 100 meter relay, she also took part in the European Championships in Amsterdam , but could not finish her run there.

In 2017 she qualified for the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade , where she reached the semi-finals over 60 meters. At the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , she finished eighth over 100 and 200 meters and was eliminated with the Norwegian relay in the run-up.

In 2016 Rønningen became Norwegian champion over 200 meters and in 2017 over 100 and 200 meters. In the hall she won the 200 meter championship in 2016, and the 60 and 200 meter championship in 2017 and 2018.
