Hélène Salomon-Watson (born February 5, 1971 as Hélène Salomon ) is a former French triathlete and Ironman winner (2003).

Career

Hélène Salomon was active as a track and field athlete in her youth and came to duathlon as a 22-year-old. In 1995 she became national runner-up in the short-distance triathlon and in 1996 national champion winter triathlon.

In 2003, Hélène Salomon married the New Zealand triathlete Craig Watson .

In June 2003 she won the Ironman France in Gérardmer and following this race, the then 32-year-old declared her professional career over after ten years.

Hélène Salomon-Watson lives with her husband and two daughters in Pau, France, and together with him she now markets the “Kiwami” sports fashion label.
