Helfersdorf is the smallest district in the municipality of Kefenrod in the Wetterau district of Hesse .

history

The first documentary mention under the place name Helfferichdorf was in 1489. From 1834 to 1967 there was a school in the village .

In the course of administrative reform in Hesse was born on August 1, 1972 Helfersdorf that until then the district Gelnhausen belonged, by virtue of state law in the community Kefenrod incorporated . At the same time, the place changed to the newly formed Wetterau district.
