Hellboy Blood and Iron is a 2007 American cartoon based on an adventure of the cartoon character Hellboy . Although he starts before the real- life film Hellboy , which was released in 2004 , which can be seen in particular from the fact that Hellboy's foster father, Professor Bruttenholm, who dies in the course of the real-life film, is still alive in it, he is in continuity with it . The paranormal investigation and defense authority of which Hellboy is a member is called to a case in a haunted mansion. Hellboy, Liz and Abe go to the house.
