Helmut Kiefl

Helmut Kiefl (born February 4, 1942 in Mainzing ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After elementary school, Kiefl passed the agricultural assistant examination. He then graduated from the Higher Agricultural School in Schönbrunn and became a graduate engineer (FH). From 1965 to 1969 he was youth advisor at the Bund der Landjugend Württemberg-Hohenzollern and then until 1976 deputy headmaster of the Swabian Farmer's School in Bad Waldsee . He then worked for the state farmers 'association Württemberg-Hohenzollern and the state farmers' association in Baden-Württemberg , where he was deputy chief executive officer until 1998. Kiefl is married and has four children.

In Bad Waldsee, Kiefl was a member of the local council and chairman of the CDU. From 1996 to 2006 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . He represented the constituency 68 Wangen and was the agricultural policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group.
