Helmut Schinagl

Helmut Schinagl (born January 24, 1931 in Innsbruck , † 1998 in Zams ) was an Austrian author.

Life

Helmut Schinagl grew up in Kitzbühel , graduated from Kufstein in 1949, received his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Innsbruck in 1954 and taught from 1957 to 1991 as a specialist teacher at a business school in Imst. He also worked as a musician (piano, organ, music theory), he was a member of the Tower Association , the Austrian Writers' Association and the Austrian PEN Club.
