Helmut Zöpfl (born November 25, 1937 in Munich ) is a German pedagogue and professor of school pedagogy , who is also known as the author of beautiful literature .

Career

Zöpfl grew up as an only child in Erding. He studied Classical Philology, Philosophy, Catholic Theology and received his doctorate in 1963 in Munich on the subject of " Death in the Phenomenon of Education " as a Doctor of Education. In 1970 he completed his habilitation on the “ concept of nature in its meaning for education ”. From 1971 until his retirement in 2003 he was full professor at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich at the chair for school pedagogy. From 1973 to 1976 he was a visiting professor at the University of Salzburg . From 1975 to 1978 he was the representative of the chair of school education at the comprehensive university in Eichstätt . In 1998 he also began studying natural sciences, which he completed in 2002 with a doctorate in biology (Dr. rer. Nat.) Magna cum laude.

He is well known in public as the author of numerous books and as a Bavarian dialect poet .
