The Hembach is a left tributary of the Laufach in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

The Hembach rises north of the hamlet of Steiger am Brandenberg . It runs in a northerly direction and crosses the route of the Main-Spessart Railway . At Frohnhofen the Hembach flows into the left arm of the Laufach .
