Henágio Figueiredo dos Santos , mainly known as Henágio , (born December 10, 1961 in Aracaju , † October 25, 2015 ) was a Brazilian football player .

Athletic career

Henágio made his adult debut for CS Sergipe in 1981 . With the club from his hometown, he won the 1982 Sergipe State Championship . In 1983 he moved to Santa Cruz FC , with whom he won the Pernambuco national championship in his first season . In the summer of 1985 he moved on to local rivals Sport Recife , and in 1987 he spent as a player at Guarani FC . With the club he entered the Copa Libertadores in 1987 , scoring two goals in four group games. Nevertheless, the team retired early in the group as third.

As a result, Henágio mainly had short-term engagements that never lasted longer than two seasons.
