Hendrik Heller (born July 22, 1986 in Leimbach ) is a German politician of the NPD and district chairman in the Wartburg district based in Eisenach and a member of the state board of the NPD Thuringia. In the 2006 report on the protection of the constitution in Thuringia he is classified as a neo-Nazi.

Career

Hendrik Heller joined the right-wing extremist Free Comradeship at the age of 15 . He became one of the leaders in the National and Social Action Alliance for West Thuringia (NSAW). After graduating from the Dr.-Sulzberger-Gymnasium in Bad Salzungen , Heller studied agricultural science at the University of Halle and sits for the NPD in the district council of the Wartburg district. He works closely with the former head of the NSAW and current NPD state manager Patrick Wieschke . Today Heller is a member of the Bad Salzungen Comradeship. He is also a member of the Silesian Youth in Thuringia.

State politics

In January 2006, Heller was elected to the NPD district association Wartburgkreis as the successor to chairwoman Sylvia Kirschner (then Berisha) and at the age of 22 is the second youngest head of an NPD association in Thuringia . Since July 1, 2006 he has also been active in the NPD regional association and is now a member of the regional executive committee. There he holds the office of state training manager, is university policy spokesman and representative of the nature conservation working group . In addition, his party identifies him as an "expert in agricultural sciences". The district association Wartburgkreis unter Heller provides a third of the members of the state board. On June 17, 2007, he opened the first Thuringian NPD citizens' office in Erfurt together with Patrick Paul, Kai-Uwe Trinkaus and Patrick Wieschke .

Since Hendrik Heller has been a member of the NPD's district executive, the members of the NSAW in Eisenach and the surrounding area have reappeared under the name “AG Bürgerbeteiligung”. A website and the “Wartburgkreis-Bote” are, in contrast to the earlier, a more inconspicuous appearance with a homeland-related, communal appearance. The National and Social Action Alliance West Thuringia supported the state election campaign of the NPD at the municipal level.

In the state elections on August 30, 2009, Heller came eighth on the NPD's state list, which received 4.5 percent of the vote.

activities

Hendrik Heller has appeared at NPD events since 2004, but also in groups such as the Thuringian Homeland Security and the NSAW. He also spoke at the Thuringian National Youth Day on May 20, 2006 in Altenburg and at a substitute march for the forbidden commemoration of Rudolf Heß in Jena in August 2007 . In addition, he organized several information stands as part of the NPD membership campaign in the summer of 2007. Heller appeared at Monday demonstrations in Meiningen, southern Thuringia. He also appeared several times as a speaker in Thuringia in the context of so-called “anti-capitalist coffee trips” by neo-Nazis, B. on March 4, 2006 in Ilmenau and on February 24, 2007 in Southwest Thuringia.

During the NPD election campaign, he distributed the NPD's so-called “ schoolyard CD ” to the schools in his constituency. Hendrik writes in the "Wartburgkreis-Bote", a free newspaper that is published by an "AG Bürgerbeteiligung". In the background of the newspaper stands the NPD district association under Hendrik Heller, who played a key role in initiating this project. The district association finances the paper and is responsible for the content orientation. The website "For Eisenach", which claims to be an independent newsletter for Eisenach and the surrounding area, is also designed with the help of Hendrik Heller.

According to the Thuringian Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Heller is also responsible for the "NPD Schmalkalden-Meiningen and Suhl" side of the NPD district association Wartburgkreis.

During the “anti-capitalist coffee trip” through Bad Salzungen in spring 2006, Heller's father, Georg Wegner, also took part in the intermediate rally. Wegener later expressed his solidarity with his son's concerns in a letter to the editor. At that time, Georg Wegner was head of the local citizens' initiative against excessive local taxes . After strong protests, especially by the Bad Salzunger Left Party , he had to resign. Hendrik Heller and his father Georg Wegner then staged an infiltration of the Left Party: the local neo-Nazi Michael Ranft, with whom Heller was in good contact and with whom he had attended right-wing demonstrations, joined the Left Party and became active in the party. Shortly thereafter, Ranft was elected to the party's city council. Six weeks later a local newspaper and the Left Party received letters from a Thuringian anti-group . Incriminating material was documented in the letters: a photo showing Ranft shaking hands with the neo-Nazi lawyer Jürgen Rieger at the 2006 Rudolf Hess March in Jena . Later, in a message from the NPD, it was announced that Ranft was dissatisfied with the Left Party, had resigned there and had now joined the NPD. The campaign received extensive media coverage.
