Patrick David Wieschke (born May 6, 1981 in Eisenach ) is a German politician ( NPD ) and neo-Nazi who appears as a registrant and speaker at numerous nationalist demonstrations and rallies, especially in Thuringia . He is one of the most active right-wing extremists in Germany. Until 2002 he acted as deputy state chairman of the NPD youth organization “ Young National Democrats ” Thuringia, since March 25, 2006 he has been deputy district chairman of the NPD in the Wartburg district . In the meantime he is the head of the national organization of the NPD and in this function a member of the NPD party presidency. He was also the state chairman of the NPD in Thuringia from May 2012 to January 2015 and ran as the top candidate for the 2014 state election . After police files on criminal charges for the mistreatment of his mother and sister as well as for the abuse of a 12-year-old girl became known, Wieschke resigned from his federal offices.

Wieschke as a comradeship leader in Eisenach

Patrick Wieschke was already very active in right-wing extremist youth cliques in his hometown Eisenach in the early 1990s and acted in particular as the driving force behind the National and Social Action Alliance West Thuringia (NSAW) and as the leader of the Eisenach comradeship . Patrick Wieschke also acted as press spokesman for both organizations.

In 1999, Patrick Wieschke registered an election demonstration for the right-wing extremist NPD in Eisenach for the first time . In July 2000, the NSAW distributed an anti-Semitic circular from the history revisionist Manfred Roeder to 2,000 Eisenach households. In September 2000, rushed Wieschke in via direct mail in Schmalkalden distributed "citizen's summary" against the establishment of a refugee hostel in the town of Schmalkalden. It must both be prevented that “ Central Germany is now also drowning in multinational mash ” and the “ corruption of our German language ” must be countered. On the occasion of the death of Ignatz Bubis in 2001 he called for a “joy march”. This provocation was reported in numerous German and international newspapers. On April 28, 2001, Patrick Wieschke spoke for the NSAW at an event organized by the DVU in Mosbach, at which the closer cooperation between right-wing extremist parties and organizations in Germany was to be coordinated.

Functionary of the "Young National Democrats"

Patrick Wieschke is a founding member of the NPD youth organization “ Young National Democrats ” (JN) in Thuringia. Until 2002 he acted as deputy state chairman, state press spokesman and JN base manager in Eisenach.

Explosives attack in Eisenach and further criminal proceedings

In February 2001, a civil case was initiated against Patrick Wieschke at the Eisenach district court, because in May 2000 he had tried to convict an Eisenach pastor with two leaflets signed with Komadschaft Eisenach / Patrick Wieschke and Anti-Antifa as a "German hater" and " Inciters of the people "to defame. The two pamphlets accused him, with a clearly anti-Semitic and racist choice of words, of “working towards a one world society ” and of promoting amulticultural society that would bring death to the people ”.

On the night of August 10, 2000, Patrick Wieschke was involved as an instigator in an explosives attack on the front door of a Turkish snack bar in Eisenach. Shortly after the detonation, he was arrested near the crime scene. In his rucksack were leaflets from the JN and stickers on the anniversary of Rudolf Hess's death . Not least in connection with the investigation against him, Patrick Wieschke resigned as deputy JN regional chairman on January 14, 2002 shortly before the court hearing at the Eisenach district court and left the NPD. In a press release, he cited " reactionary and backward-looking tendencies in the NPD district association Wartburgkreis as well as the current behavior of the NPD federal executive towards critical party members and Free Nationalists " as reasons for this . On May 29, 2002 Patrick Wieschke was sentenced to a prison sentence of 2 years and 9 months by the regional court of Mühlhausen during the appeal hearing, among other things for inciting an explosive and causing property damage. In addition, there was a second conviction by the Eisenach District Court for bodily harm to seven months in juvenile detention. Between the time of detention and the start of his detention, he organized demonstrations and rallies almost every week. B. against a planned refugee home in Gotha , or as on the “1. National Youth Day in Thuringia ”on June 1, 2002 in Jena as a speaker. On June 26, 2002, Patrick Wieschke began his prison sentence in the JSA Ichtershausen , which was stylized by his comrades as " convict detention in the dungeons of the FRG regime".

In June 2005, Wieschke beat up a member of his group for refusing to distribute leaflets. The victim was left with lacerations, bruises and bruises. This was followed by an application for arrest, which was granted due to the risk of repetition. In November 2005 Wieschke was sentenced to a suspended sentence of six months to four years on probation and 150 hours of community service.

In February 2016 Wieschke was sentenced to probation and a fine for sedition .

Leading right-wing extremist cadre in West Thuringia

His importance as an organizer for the right-wing extremist scene in Thuringia and the "National and Social Action Alliance West Thuringia" (NSAW) in particular shows the fact that the "common platform for all national political forces in West Thuringia" was still approx There were 40 followers, but according to the VS assessment it was “largely inactive”.

Wieschke was released early from prison at the end of May 2004 and quickly resumed his political work. On May 29, he appeared as a speaker at the “ Thuringian National Youth Day ” in Saalfeld , together with Kurt Hoppe , the head of the German Party , Ivonne Mädel , Michael Burkert and Frank Schwerdt (NPD) . In August he led a local Rudolf Hess march in Eisenach. Since then Wieschke has organized numerous extreme right-wing demonstrations and acted as registrant or speaker, especially in the context of a campaign by the " National and Social Action Alliance for Central Germany " against Agenda 2010 and at the end of 2004 / beginning of 2005 on so-called "national Monday demonstrations " in Eisenach. At the beginning of February bourgeois counter-demonstrators disguised as fools disturbed and listened to Wieschke before they carried out a polonaise against Nazi cheese .

Gotha as a new sphere of activity

At the beginning of 2005 Patrick Wieschke moved to Gotha and organized some right-wing rock concerts, especially in the so-called "Green House". Together with other local right-wing extremists, he also founded the right-wing extremist Toringi eV there. The “Green House” is now almost empty, so at the beginning of 2006 they moved to the “Schenke” in Beringen Police was sealed. Wieschke is currently working primarily as a demonstration organizer and for the right-wing extremist newspapers “Der Rennsteigbote” (Gotha) and the “Wartburgkreisbote” (Eisenach, WAK).

Activities in Eisenach

Since January 2006 he has been jointly responsible for the regional print product "Wartburgkreis-Bote" (formerly "Wartburg-Bote"), with which he is trying to gain a foothold in the media in Eisenach and the surrounding area. A website for Eisenach , which pretends to be an independent newsletter for Eisenach and the surrounding area , and the associated “AG Citizen Participation” complete the efforts of the NPD in West Thuringia to prepare the ground for entry into the state parliament.

Due to an intervention by the Wartburg Foundation , the "editorial collective" was prohibited from using the sole designation "Wartburg" in the title. The title was therefore changed to "Wartburgkreis-Bote". At a court hearing at the Erfurt Regional Court, he renounced the term "Wartburg-Bote". In a further legal dispute between the district administrator of the Wartburg district, Reinhard Krebs, and Wieschke, however, the Wartburg district was defeated, which wanted to forbid the editorial staff from the title of the magazine.

At the same time, demonstrations are taking place in Eisenach under headings typical of the scene. Accordingly, on May 8, 2006, a demonstration took place “ in memory of the Germans expelled and murdered in Europe in the 1930s and 1940s ”. Here the peoples of Europe were blamed for the invasion of the German troops and the associated victims.

Functionary of the NPD

On March 25, 2006, Wieschke was elected the new deputy district chairman of the NPD in the Wartburg district and announced " increased activities in and around Eisenach ". At the same time, Danny Pfotenhauer was added to the board as the new treasurer, who was also sentenced to imprisonment as a co-instigator of the attack on the kebab shop. Both were looked after by the “ Aid Organization for National Political Prisoners and Their Relatives ” (HNG) during their imprisonment .

Since mid-2006, Wieschke has also been the full-time state manager of the NPD Thuringia, state press spokesman, local political spokesman and head of the economic policy department in the NPD state board. Furthermore, he has recently been active as the deputy head of the organization of the NPD and has thus risen to the federal executive committee of the right-wing extremist party in a relatively short time. His internship at the NPD in the Schwerin state parliament in 2007 was greeted with criticism due to his numerous criminal records. The law on representatives in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania requires a certificate of good conduct, which is why he was not used as a speaker due to his criminal past. The Mecklenburg parliamentary group spokesman for the NPD, Stefan Rochow, commented: We knew about it .

Transverse front in Thuringia

Thuringia is a special field of action for cross-front strategists . The star writes about “Braun-Rote Kungelei” in Thuringia: “It all started with Hartz IV and peace demonstrations, now both are marching against the G8. The NPD is getting more and more unrestrained about topics and voters of the left. Thuringia in particular seems to be a regional test laboratory for the 'left right' ”.

Political mandates

In the 2009 local elections , Wieschke entered the Eisenach city council with 2,636 votes (5.0% of the votes cast) for the NPD. In the state elections in Thuringia in 2009 , as a direct candidate for the NPD in the constituency of Wartburg District II - Eisenach, he received 5.2% of the first votes (1427 votes). In the 2014 city council election , he returned to the Eisenach city council and ran in September 2014 as the leading candidate of the NPD and direct candidate in the constituency of Wartburg district II - Eisenach for the 2014 state election in Thuringia . In the 2017 federal election , he was a direct candidate for the NPD in the Eisenach - Wartburg - Unstrut-Hainich district .

Becoming aware of investigative proceedings for abuse and allegations of ill-treatment

Immediately before the state elections in Thuringia in 2014 , it became known that Wieschke had been investigated in 2001 on suspicion of sexual abuse of a then 12-year-old girl. The former Eisenach police chief confirmed the authenticity of the documents. The Mühlhausen public prosecutor's office discontinued the proceedings in 2002, because at that time he was being investigated for the above-mentioned bomb attack on an Eisenach kebab snack bar, for which he was also convicted in May 2002. In addition, police files became known from which it emerges that Wieschke beat his mother in 1999 on the evening before an NPD event, at which the then 18-year-old wanted to speak as a speaker, in a slightly intoxicated state in the shared apartment and that he had beaten his 15-year-old sister before that had abused repeatedly over a long period of time. Due to the incident, Wieschke's appearance at the NPD event was prohibited by the police. The NPD failed in the election because of the 5 percent hurdle , so Wieschke and his party failed again to enter the Thuringian state parliament . Wieschke subsequently resigned from his federal offices, but remained state chairman of the Thuringian NPD.
