Henk de Jonge

Henk de Jonge (born December 1943 in Hilversum ) is a Dutch musician ( piano , percussion , composition ) who was best known as a member of the Willem Breuker Kollektief .

Live and act

De Jonge studied at the Conservatory in Utrecht piano and percussion and was then from 1964 to 1966 as a percussionist in symphony orchestras and as a pianist in theater productions (among others Jérôme Savary busy). In 1978 Willem Breuker met him while producing Twice a Woman and in 1979 brought him to his collection , to which de Jonge belonged until it was dissolved in 2012. He also founded his own trio, with which he has released two albums since 1986. He also accompanied Robert Long ( Liedjes uit de Krullentijd ), for whom he also arranged, and recorded compositions by Theo Uden Masman . Since 2009 he has also performed the Wind & Water Boekie Woekie with the light artist Hans Cornel .
