Henning Zülch

Henning Zülch (born March 30, 1973 in Dortmund ) is a German economist .

Life

Henning Zülch studied economics with a focus on auditing at the Westphalian Wilhelms University from 1993 to 1998 . After graduating as a Dipl.-Kfm. he joined Ernst & Young Deutsche Allgemeine Treuhand AG, Ruhr area branch, where he worked as an examination assistant and later as a team leader in the Assurance & Advisory Business Services (AABS) division. At the same time he did his doctorate at the Institute for Auditing of Jörg Baetge in Münster on a topic on international accounting (Zülch, H .: The accounting of investment properties according to IAS 40, Düsseldorf 2003).

From October 2002 to August 2006 he held the junior professorship for corporate accounting, in particular international accounting, at Clausthal University of Technology . Henning Zülch has headed the Chair of Accounting, Auditing and Controlling at the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management since September 2006 . In addition, he has been a visiting professor at the University of Vienna in the field of “Selected Foreign Accounting Systems” since the 2007/2008 winter semester .

Since 2014, the Chair of Accounting and Auditing at the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management under the direction of Henning Zülch has also been responsible for the results of the annual capital market competition "Investors' Darling" . The results of this competition are always published in the October issue of Manager Magazin and put up for discussion. Based on the RIC model, all 160 DAX companies are assessed with regard to their financial communication, i. H. its performance in the dimensions R eporting, I nvestor relations and C apital Markets, analyzed in detail. The analyzes are carried out by a specialized team of up to 25 people under the direction of Professor Zülch.

As a member of the core team of the HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management , he developed a "Leipzig management model" together with Manfred Kirchgeorg , Timo Meynhardt , Andreas Pinkwart and Andreas Suchanek .
