Henri Van den Bulcke

Henri Van den Bulcke (* 1889 , † 1947 ) was a Belgian ice hockey player and official.

Career

Henri van den Bulcke was in the squad of the Belgian national ice hockey team , which won the gold medal at the European championship in 1913 before the Czech national ice hockey team. Parallel to his activity as a player, the Belgian was active as an ice hockey official and was the first president of the Koninklijke Belgische IJshockey Federatie from 1912 to 1920 , as well as for two terms, from 1912 to 1914 and after his re-election from 1914 to 1920 as the successor to the Frenchman Louis Magnus is the second president in the history of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF . His successor in the Belgian Ice Hockey Federation was Paul Loicq , who also took over the presidency of the IIHF in 1922.
