Henrik Olsson

Henrik Olsson (born January 14, 1994 in Solna , Sweden ) is a Swedish handball player . His father is the Swedish national handball coach and former world-class handball player Staffan Olsson .

The 1.90 m tall and 82 kg heavy right-hander can be used in the back in the left and central position. He began playing handball at IFK Tumba HK , where he also made his debut in the Swedish Elitserien . In 2013 he was Swedish youth champion with Tumba. He then moved to the 2012/13 Swedish champions HK Drott Halmstad . There he made his debut in the EHF Champions League 2013/14 . From the summer of 2015 he played for the Swedish first division club Ricoh HK . In the summer of 2018, Olsson joined the French club Tremblay-en-France Handball .

With the Swedish selection he took part in the U19 World Cup in 2013.
