Henrik Wiese

Henrik Wiese (born July 22, 1971 in Vienna ) is a German flautist .

life and career

He studied with Ingrid Koch-Dörnbrak in his home town of Hamburg and with Paul Meisen in Munich . In 1995 he was engaged as a solo flutist at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. In 2006 he moved to the same position in the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra . Henrik Wiese has also been teaching at the University of the Arts in Bremen since 2018 .

Henrik Wiese is the winner of the German Music Competition 1995 and the international competitions in Kobe / Japan 1997, Markneukirchen 1998, Odense / Denmark Carl Nielsen 1998 and Munich (ARD) 2000.

His artistic work is documented by several recordings (CD, radio and television recordings). In addition to the Böhm flute , Henrik Wiese also plays the transverse flute and can be heard with this instrument in the Accademia giocosa . Since 1997 Henrik Wiese has worked as editor for the G. Henle Verlag in Munich and Breitkopf & Härtel in Wiesbaden , among others . In the center of his editorial and scientific interest are the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , the Bach student Johann Philipp Kirnberger and Gewandhaus Kapellmeister Carl Reinecke .
