Henrike Maria Zilling

Henrike Maria Zilling (* 1968 in Berlin ) is a German ancient historian and headmistress of the Marienschule in Limburg an der Lahn .

life and career

Henrike Maria Zilling studied history and biology at the Free University of Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin from 1989 to 1996 . In 1996 she passed the first state examination for the office of the Studienrat in Berlin with the thesis Theology and Practice of Charity in Early Christianity . She completed her legal clerkship at the Schadow-Oberschule in Berlin-Zehlendorf from 1997-1999 and passed her second state examination in 1999. She had a teaching position at the Technical University of Berlin in 1997 and 1998. From 1999 to 2004 she was a research assistant at the Institute for History and Art History at the Technical University of Berlin, where she received her doctorate as an apologist and theologian in 2003 with the thesis Tertullian . From 2004 to 2009 she was a research assistant at the Institute for History and Art History at the TU Berlin. In 2010, after her habilitation in 2009, she was appointed private lecturer under the working title Die Heiligen und die Stadt .

Since February 1, 2013, Zilling has been the headmistress of the Episcopal Marienschule in Limburg, where she teaches history, philosophy and biology.
